Darg, Bolgrean, Menk, Inc. was founded in 1966
by Lloyd W. Darg, P.E. as a one person structural engineering firm in
Robbinsdale, Minnesota.
The firm started to grow and moved to larger quarters in the Interchange
office complex in St. Louis Park, Minnesota in 1970.
By 1986, the firm had grown to twenty persons before it split off into two
companies, with Lloyd W. Darg and Associates moving to Golden Valley. In
1989, the firm changed to its current name, "Darg, Bolgrean, Menk, Inc."
after Gene Bolgrean, P.E. and Harry D. Menk, P.E., both longtime staff
engineers, became principals. From the company's roots as a one person
firm over forty years ago to the present
fully computerized office doing work in many states, our mission remains
the same... "To engineer the safe and economical design of building
structural systems, while respecting project schedules and providing
timely field support."
